Panoráma Borozó és Étterem Hévíz- Egregy

Az étel felejthető és ár-érték arányban kicsit sok, főleg ami az adagot illeti. Kilátás tényleg jó. Egy liter szódavíz 700ft, azért az “kissé” húzós. Értem én hogy sok a külföldi turista, de ez már a lehúzás kategória.

Nice location with beautiful view. No dedicated smoking part so non-smokers must enjoy the addiction too. Small playground, but out of order when we visited. Free parking place. Fast service. Average food, dry pancake. Dirty restroom.

I've stopped by here for lunch during a bike trip. The service was fast. The fruity lemonade was great and the venison roast too. There are also local wines to buy, the selection is fine.

As a last night in Héviz, we decided to have the last dinner at Panorama, another restaurant I used to visit a lot. We took a sit on the outside, as it was the only available seating area, and took our orders, two potato and sour cream soups, two venison legs with forest fruit sauce and as desserts respectively a palacsinta with marmalade and another one filled with ice cream and forest fruit sauce. The food was indeed great, with a very good venison meat and a nice sauce which gave character to the plating and the taste. However, the palacsinta with marmalade was way too dry and we did not like it very much. Another negative part was the large amount of mosquitoes flying around the place and biting us the whole time. That was really annoying. Overall, great experience for dinner. Keep up the good work.

Well, this will not be a balanced review... We have been returning to this small restaurant with the family for more than 10 years now - this tells the story more or less. This part of Hévíz (Btw. it is rather Egregy, a walking distance outskirts of the town Hévíz) is a winery hill, with a number of similar small restaurants - with beautiful views, if you know what is the “Heuriger” just next to Vienna, then you may know exactly what this is all about. The restaurant “Panoráma Borozó” may be considered as one of the (at least) similar ones in this short wine street, yet very different! You should not expect Michelin award winner cuisine, with extraordinary culinarities, the menue is quite typical / standard, what you may find at the other ones, yet different. What makes this, it is the fact, that is a family run place, so the staff are treating all guest from their full heart - no wonder, that those spending only one or two weeks in Hévíz, may become “regular” at this place. If you like typical Hungarian food, basically anything from the menue is recommendable, be brave going for it! We keep returning to this place every year, tried basically (nealy) all their meals, with full satisfaction. The chef (happen to be the owner), Csaba, has always a few nice words to their guests... It is open from spring until mid-October and closed on Wednesdays. Should you hesitate, which one to choose - go for this, there are low risks for your choice!

Very beautiful view on the vineyards and surroundings. Kind service and good food. I would definitely recommend this place. Just wanted to go there for the second time on Friday around 6 pm, but they were closed for unknown reason.

Adequate, but unremarkable food. I had chicken on red wine sauce with a side salad. Please, but I wouldn't hurry back. Friendly service.

Delicious food, excellent & friendly service. Great wine. Amazing view, although sometimes too many mosquitos. Worth it though :)
