Came here because we couldn't get a table last minute at the actual restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere. Got pizza and dessert. Food and service was great.

Part of the "Italy street" theme park, this is basically an Italian salumeria transplanted to Budapest. Lots of imported pastas, meats & cheeses. They also offer a bevy of sandwiches and other dishes.

Legjobb kiszolgálás a városban! Egy szombat este ültünk be és Kinga nem csak remek kiszolgálással látott el minket, de ajánlotta a Franciacorta nevű habzó bort is, amit mindenképpen ki kell próbálni ha itt jártok! Zsolt sajttálja pedig simán az egyik legínyencebb a környéken! Köszönjük szépen ezt a remek estét!

Mintha egy római bisztróban ültünk volna, fantasztikus ételek, remek borok, igazi olasz bisztró hangulat. Csak ajánlani tudjuk akár romantikus vacsorákhoz, akár baráti borozáshoz. Mindenki segítőkész, mosolygós, de kiemelnénk pincérünket, aki kedvességével bearanyozta az esténket. Köszönjük Kinga!

Születésnapot ünnepeltünk, igy ebédre választottuk a Gastronomia Pompei D’oro olasz cukrászda, kis éttermet. A lassagne és a canneloni nagyon finom volt, a tiramisu és a Panna cotta fenséges volt. Kinga felszolgáló kedvessége, kiszolgálása (a szülinapi kis meglepetésével) 10es pontot érdemel, nagyon köszönjük a csodás hangulatot. Minden tökéletes volt, csak ajánlani tudom Mindenkinek. At Pomo d'oro I have met with pretty well prepared staff. I believe this place is really like you were in Milano - I intend pricewise also. You will see extravagant items also.

I have just recently visited Gastronomia Pomo d'ora (using my Feldobox voucher that was a gift from my friend). We were seated by our pre-booked table on the terrace which is located in the fairly quiet Arany Janos str. We had excellent food here, I guess the best I have ever had! Wonderfully tasty meal followed by an extremely delicious dessert. Staff is very helpful and friendly, our waitress Kinga was super kind - thank you for your service again! I highly recommend Gastornomia Pomo d'Oro to everybody.

Gastronomia Pomo d'Oro is a more casual version of the fancy Trattoria Pomo D'Oro restaurant next door. The front looks like an Italian deli, with a cold display case full of prosciutto, salamis, cheeses, foccacia and olives. You can either buy supplies at the deli, or eat in the restaurant section: there were wood tables in the back, more upstairs, and some outdoor seating. I had a most delicious lasagna, which came in its own little ceramic dish, hot from the oven. The staff were friendly, spoke some English; service was quick and efficient. The dining area was tidy, and the restroom was clean. I thought that prices were higher than other restaurants in the area, but considerably lower than the Trattoria next door.

This place is just amazing. I visited a couple times before and was always happy, so I recommended to my friends as well, when it was time to choose a place for a pre-Christmas treat. When entering, the place may seem small, but there is upstairs seating as well. Personnel are welcoming, cheerful and friendly. I especially like the shop, where you can browse the many ingredients to take home for another time. The food is always fresh and tasty. If unsure what to have, you bet the waiters have some really good ideas! They prepared a nice platter with the most popular starters and recommended a delicious wine to go with it. Congratulations!

My three years life in Budapest by chance equals to the same experience with Gastronomia PomoDoro time wise, since I am going there regularly. Sometimes every day, it would never happened if anything went wrong. Therefore I definitely have something to say: 1. I always recommend it to my friends 2. I always get there what I want: -fresh, tasty, quality food -professional service -friendly team starting with owners and all the way to cooks and waiters. I think it’s quiet hard to manage long day work, preparing and selling products, cooking dishes and at the same time staying friendly with clients. In my opinion, that’s what defines a level both of each worker in a team and the place itself. And that’s what I also call both being in a right place(about workers) and professional. Lovely place for easy going lunch or dinner. Absolutley delicious pizza!! Large menu with many different options. Seating outside is great! Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable (about 10usd for an artesional pizza). If Paolo is in the house please ask him his support, he will drive you through the best Italian food experience
